MIDDLE DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. Late 3rd to early 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 12.91 g, 1 h), 'Doppeltriskeles' type. Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. Celticized horseman to left; above, two small triskeles; to left, comb like ornament; below, small triskeles and remains of bow. Dembski 1373. Flesche 609. Lanz 734 var. OTA 444/1. Very rare. Harshly cleaned and with areas of weakness, otherwise, about very fine.
